Introduction
Chrome is a web browser that runs on Mac computers. While it is a reliable and speedy browser, some users prefer to use other browsers, such as Safari or Firefox. If you want to uninstall Chrome from your Mac, there are a few different ways you can do it.
One way to uninstall Chrome is to drag the app icon to the Trash bin. To do this, open up the Finder application and then locate the Chrome app icon. Once you find it, click and drag the icon to the Trash bin. Alternatively, you can right-click on the app icon and select “Move to Trash.”
Another way to uninstall Chrome is to use the built-in uninstaller program that comes with the browser. To do this, open up Chrome and then go to the menu bar at the top of the screen. From there, select “Chrome” and then “Preferences.” Under the “Advanced” tab, click on “Reset Settings.” Finally, click on “Uninstall.”
If you want to completely remove all traces of Chrome from your Mac, including your browsing history and cookies, you can use a third-party application like CleanMyMac X. This program will scan your Mac for all files associated with Chrome and delete them permanently.

If you’re using a Mac and you want to uninstall Google Chrome, you’ll need to find the application in your Finder. Generally, if you downloaded Chrome from the App Store, it will be in your Applications folder; otherwise, it will be in the Downloads folder.
To open your Applications folder, click on the Finder icon in your dock, then click on “Applications” in the left sidebar. If you don’t see “Applications” in the sidebar, you can make it appear by going to the Finder menu at the top of your screen and selecting “Preferences.” In the new window that opens, click on the “Sidebar” tab and make sure that “Applications” is selected under “Locations.”
Once you’ve found Google Chrome in your Applications folder (or wherever else it may be), right-click on it and select “Move to Trash.” You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to delete the application; click on “Delete” to continue.
You can also delete Chrome by dragging it from wherever it’s located on your computer into your trash bin. Once it’s in your trash bin, you can empty the trash as usual (by right-clicking on the trash bin icon and selecting “Empty Trash,” or by selecting “Empty Trash” from the Finder menu at the top of your screen).
